Next time up I'll take a picture of the spot I'm thinking about, after a big dump, like the one in the picture that opening is pretty tight, with the weight of the snow pulling the trees in.SkiDork wrote:BTW - the actual jumpoff/huck spot you're referring to D is a rock formation, not the old gondi stantion (stanchion) . The stantion (stanchion) is hidden behind bushes making it more difficult to jump off...
BTW: I corrected your spelling but did it inside of the parentheses because i didn't want to get yelled at again for changing peoples posts.

Cogito, ergo sum
Sometimes it is that simple.

You could be right - with all the snow pulling the trees down over it....

I thought so too but I believe it is a bit more open than that and it does not look as high as it usually looks. I can't believe there would be that much snow to make it look like this. However, it is possible that is the location you guys are referring to.Stormchaser wrote:Mtn man should chime in on this one. It does look like the cinder block/rock drop at south ridge.

I don't think that's Helter Skelter, just doesn't quite look right.tyrolean_skier wrote:I thought so too but I believe it is a bit more open than that and it does not look as high as it usually looks. Re: Where is this?
It appears to be Reason . . . and what looks like a fallen tree is actually a water pipe covered in the October snow . . . but not covered as much as we're used to when they blow snow and we get more natural snow. It appears the rider is coming off a jump from the left of the picture. JMHOCrock540 wrote:any ideas? it's on the killington website under "park and pipe"
