I can't believe you guys hike up there. All that work! And then you put on frozen boots, right? I hadn't even thought about the frozen boots until someone mentioned it to me today.
I think I would rather just go for a regular hike, but to each their own.
I'll wait for the chairs to run.

You hike in your snowboard boots and carry your board under your arm?
Yeah, that sounds a lot easier than hiking with your boots in a pack and your skis and poles strapped to the pack.

Mine were pretty stiff and it took a lot of effort to get them on. Iceman had the same problem. We both have Lange boots which are notorious for being real stiff if it's cold.Nevada West wrote:One.
Boots aren't frozen- unless you get snow in them.
The hike up is pretty easy. It pretty much is a 'regular' hike except carrying your gear.

he did it in 2hrs 59 min and something-something seconds talk about cutting it close.
