Right on Mr. Moose
Qauntity isn't the top priority - quality ski days are much more important (chasing every storm) - and secondly before quantitity of days is quantity of hills. I take pride is sking double digit mountains (10 or more N.E. ski areas) every year. Based on my pre-season preparations and ticket scavenging, sking 15 New England Mountains this year are in sight. Flexibility is a good thing........ Last year in one of the worst winters ever I had some great days in some good dumps. Have to know when and where to go.....................even at each mountain......you know what's wind protected...........
Anyway shooting for my normal (30), only because of that damn work thing..............
Can't wait to get some vertical in this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree about quality over quantity to a point. Afterall, the more you're out there the better chance you have to get a great day. Last year, out of nowhere I had the most amazing day of east coast riding in my life at Smuggs. 18 inches of the lightest "Champagne" powder I've ever seen here in the east. I would gladly take just one day like that this season over an entire season of mediocre boilerplate and heavy wet "powder".
Some things just can't be bought......

I just want to be able to ski the entire season this year.
Thanks Dork...... that is my goal.
She can follow me ,...she just needs to stay focused

IN MY DREAMS...anyway after last seasons grand total I'm not counting this year.= because I'd have to get fired to beat last season.

Agree that in past years I had more than 1 day of skiing by this time. Last year I made it past 50 but this year it is probably going to be less due to the late start of the season. Unfortunately, I cannot be there during the week expect when the kids are off from school so the rest is only weekend trips.Phantom wrote:Normally, I'd have at least 10-15 days in already![]()
This year I only have 2 so far.
