OT: Mounting Vintage Skis

Post by RobC »

My wife was kind enough to land me a set of vintage skis. Anyone know the best way to mount them to a wall without ruining them?

I mounted mine by using little black(to match decor)cast iron hooks. You just slide the ski edge into place at any angle you want and you may have to put one at the top also to hold in place. They don't seem to ruin the "look" and I didn't want to drill the ski as mine have never held a binding. They are from circa 1970 , not antique.
If yours are wooden you could try to find wooden hooks.
