But then I look at the Eagles schedule and realize the have NOT BEAT A TEAM THAT CURRENTLY HAS A WINNING RECORD! http://www.philadelphiaeagles.com/gameday/schedule.jsp
It really depends which Eagles show up. I think it can be reasonably concluded that the NYG and Eagles are the top two teams in the NFC east.
Here is how I feel the rest of the season should go.
Hosting DC - Win (5-4)
Hosting TN - Win (6-4)
@ Indy - Loss (6-5)
Hosting Carolina - Win (7-5)
@ DC - Win (8-5)
@ NYG - Close ...
@ Dallas - Close ...
Hosting ATL - Win
Here is how I feel the rest of the (NYG) season should go.
Hosting Houston - Win (6-2)
Hosting Chicago - Loss (6-3)
@ Jacksonville - Win (7-3)
@ Tennessee - Win (8-3)
Hosting Dallas - Win (9-3)
@ Carolina - Win (10-3)
Hosting Philly - Close ...
Hosting NO - Close ...
@ DC - Win
The above being said, the NYG need a upset to really level the playing field. And as you already point out, the Eagles have to win against the NYG. If the Iggles lose to DC and/or TN, the season is over.
Delusional
Geoff ... which part was delusional? The Eagles followed my predications quite well minus one game ... I guess I was delusional in my assumption the NYG would win that many games?
