Yes, Robrules does have a great list....... ahhh "Dream On" (great song).reefer wrote:C'mon "Pardise by the Dashboard Light", thank you Meatloaf, ah memories................. Robrules - very nice list...........................
When I need to wake up and I'm driving ALONE up to VT, I crank up Paradise by the Dashboard Light and sing my heart out. I'm sure it's kind of scary.

The music scene changed HUGE while I went to high school.
When I started Chuck Berry was about the best you could do.
Mostly it was the likes of Elvis, Bobby Vinton and Peter, Paul and Mary.
By the time I graduated Motown(mostly), Beatles(sucked), Stones(ok) and Pink Floyd(great) were available.
The first good Stones album Aftermath didn't come out until after I graduated.
The first radio airplay of Floyd made front page in the newspaper a couple years after I graduated HS.
I got suspended because my hair was too long.
They ignored the fact that it was about the same lenght it was the year before the Beatles hit the scene.

Of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most.

I switch back and forth. Sometimes had my own words via melody to Meatloaf's solos.MarieM wrote:Do you sing both parts?Skibumtress wrote:Yes, Robrules does have a great list....... ahhh "Dream On" (great song).reefer wrote:C'mon "Pardise by the Dashboard Light", thank you Meatloaf, ah memories................. Hippies are cool. I'm a little younger than you but I grew up with older cousins who were hippies/flower children. I was a wannabe flower child. Dressed the part in highschool for a bit as did some of my friends. When I was even younger I got all my cousin's hand-me-downs.... I was a little flower child.Phantom wrote:Skibumtress wrote:Phantom wrote:I got suspended because my hair was too long.

For you it was so long ago, I'm surprised you remember that far backSkibumtress wrote:Groundhog asked this question on the drive up with MtnMan, Mrs. Steve and I.
There are many for me, but I have to say it's
"Stairway to Heaven"
followed by
"Roundabout" and
"Freebird"
