Friday looks like another POW DAY!

Look at the 48 hr prog issued earlier today. It reflects forecast conditions at 7 am Friday.

Notice the huge bulls eye in the middle of the country, and the center pressure of the low: 984 millibars. Thats a big storm.

Now look at how tight the isobars are over Vermont. That's why the high winds are forecast.

Also notice the r*in/snow line across central Mass. This is a snap shot in time, and so this line will likely move.

This is going to be interesting.

NH news is saying 10"-20".

Big range, but either end of the spectrum will be fine.

watching this one closely... however, if they are still calling for 45+ mph winds then I'm out. Last time up the mountain was 75% closed for wind hold- and it sucked royally waiting in 20-30 lift lines (though the woods were good).

Not during the week....with just the K-1, Snowdon and Rams Head, lines at the K-1 didn't get longer than 5 minutes, and it was worth it to get the empty trails on skye peak.

It was during the week, actually (if you count a friday as "during the week"). 35 minutes in the Rams Head line (Snowshed was on hold) and the K1 was at least 20 minutes (line was out the maze and the singles line was up the hill to the end of the fence).
