so we've got the "total snowfall" contest and the "guess the opening day" contest
how bout a
"who can be the lowest profit margin skier this year" contest
the more and more I thought about it, having a season pass and staying away from K works into EXACTLY what Powdr wants, ie less crowds and they've still got your money
So I propose a challenge of who can be Powdr's least favorite skier by skiing a ton and giving them as little money as possible.

Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.
dude i hate to toot my own horn here, but i'm gonna win.
last year i gave ASC about 375 for roughly a hundred days of skiing at their mtns. this year i spent 325, and will probably be at killington/pico even more often than last year.
it's like skiing in the 50s at these prices
although feel free to count me in mang. i'm down on keepin tabs.

i spent alot of $$ in the kbl bar last preseason with my boy frankie, who some met-mrs g, junior, etc- on his beloved whiskeys, my beloved vodka & cranberrys & some sushi rolls but after bear opened i may have bought a water & or cookie & on the v day dump i bought a pair of really nice winter gloves in the bml ski shop....also spent some $$ at bmmc....bring ur own is the way too go
I do what I want, when I want, where I want, & how I want & if you don't like it you can go $uck yourself
I got a two year no blackout pass for $800 that didn't go to KSRP but to the guy I bought the bond and ski rights from. I plan on skiing a lot and I never buy food on the hill. I have 6-7 hundred $'s of the Killington funny money vouchers that went with the edge card. ASC got that money unless they cut a deal with KSRP to honor them. So it looks like I'll be skiing and drinking and not giving them a dime, I think I win.

I'm in. I won't spend a penny in their tired, crappy lodges even if they have new carpeting...
No lessons, no gear, no food or bevs.
Of course "least favorite" isn't the same as "most hated".
Who's willing to drape a "powdrpuff sucks" banner between lift towers or stage a sit-in @ the K1 or pull some other media stunt?
Are you REALLY happy with the signage at the Pickle or could it be improved?
Who's up for strapping KPSPL execs to their roof-rack and taking 'em to a deer weighing station?
What can you do to cost POWDR more in time, effort, money and goodwill?
Are you the one to give Nyberg his ulcer?
Who's got what it takes to be the POWDR'S MOST HATED SNOWRIDER 2008?
They will still make a little money off of me.... my protest is that for the first time in several years, Killington will not be getting 100% of my skiing dollars.
No season pass for me, so I'll do the express card, but I'll also be buying some lift tickets at Sugarbush, Stowe etc etc.
I could just work at KSC and cook and eat there. We normally have "Safety Meetings" after working so I can't spend any money in the Killington bar until the meeting is over. No money there. Only problem I have is I only get in about 50 days or so at K anymore, and with a shortened season those numbers may fall.
