The mountain, the town, and it's people KEPT me here. It is short sighted to say that a few weeks which equate into 4-5 days skiing (for you) make or break the experience. WTF would you do if we had to rely on natural snow? It's not always up to mtn ops when they get to blow, and as a business, is not financially viable spend a huge amount of money for two weekends of early skiing. The legnth of the season brought you here?! Not the mountain? Do a few days really wad-up your panties?
Whats really funny is that you are complaining about the management of a company - and in return - you have decided not to ski to spite them! Seems you are the one hurting YOU.

Good point, but let me ask you - what brought the skiers there in the first place? I'll tell you what brought me there - the season. The glacier on superstar. Like you, I found myself eager to hang with the skiers who were attracted to that.
But now, the reason those people came in the first place is gone.. and it seems Powdr is trying to make the mountain more like Stratton. If they have their way, the skiers you love that make the mountain might be replaced with a designer-ski-jacket wearing crowd, who care not about early and late season skiing, or even powder days, but more about being "seen" and a place like Killington. Is that what you want?

You should have met me in the ASC years. I didn't like a lot of what they did, but I always had a smile on my face. These guys are over the top.

It's quite simple.... If you don't like Killington GO AWAY. Do not ruin the "vibe" of the mountain by you incessent whining and bad karma.
Shut the f*ck up you prattling hippie pissant. Jesus christ, this'll be the next thing nyberg will use as an excuse. First it was the lifetime passholder lawsuit for future non-snowmaking. You watch, after the Thanksgiving warmup Nyberg will be telling us it was all due to Steve's Bad Karma. And the worst part will be that it won't be Steve's fault, it'll be Gimp's New Age bullsh*t that Nyberg will read and say, "Aha!"
you see, to say those extra two months (not 3 weeks) you're talking about were not financially viable ignores the three decades of growth that k experienced with that exact strategy. folks like nyberg like to blame the season length for asc's failure, but in doing so insult the intelligance of aanyone who can read a financial statement. nobody has thus given any evidence whatsoever that the long seaspn would kill k.
i'm on a treo and typing this is hell, so i'll be brief on my next 2 points and post more l8r.
snowmaking is neither here nor there.
i'm not skiing this weekend because i'm running a maraton.. not because of powdr.
f*** you! Listen ass muncher. It's people like you and Steve that are the failure of society. You fancy yourself the moral highground but are a scare little boy in a chat room posting BS trying to get a rise out of the shivering masses.
Like I said in an earlier post....

Run hard - run fast (and tape up your man-boobs so they don't hurt anyone running close to you.)

Nah - I'm just cranky and constipated today. I'm not normally like this.

I thought you drove a groomer? Or is this a side gig until more groomers are needed?

Steve, will you just go away already!!! No one wants to hear your bitching. You made your decision, you don't ski here, now shut up and go away.
