Ticket Scanners
Lift capacity is now irrelavent since the process of scanning tickets & passes is the bottleneck. The scanning machines are outdated. Larger barcodes on passes and new scanners like out west or European turnstile systems need to be evaluated.
What is K doing to address this major issue???Crowds havn't even begun to show and there are major lift line disruptions.

The problem is not the scanners, or POWDR, or the ticket checkers. The problem is us! Get with it! Compliance will be enforced! Seats must go empty!ticket checker wrote:Please refer to this thread and the Sunday Mahogany Ridge thread. I have outlined the guidelines for compliance. Cheerio!
I'm reminded of a small rowboat rowing in to the harbor not realizing that the tide has changed and the current is now flowing out, away from shore. The boat is far enough out so that in the distance, its hard to tell if you're making any headway or not. Only after quite some time does it become apparent that you cannot buck the tide with just a rowboat, and you must rethink your stategy.

Okay, this whole Ticket Checker thing is just another wacky KZone prank, right? With the comment about upgrading skills from Holiday Valley expreince to Killington (ya think????) being the give away. I mean, nobody would hire someone for a customer service position with this attitude, right?!?!? especially not when trying to deliver a "quality product".ticket checker wrote:Please refer to this thread and the Sunday Mahogany Ridge thread. I dont understand why everyone thinks this is a hoax. I work for Killington, I scan tickets at the K1 gondola (usually), and have worked the Superstar quad for a couple hours on Saturday. Also, BadDog, I said I needed to hone my skills to ski Killington as the terrain is alot different than Holiday Valley, where i worked for some time before moving here last week. Hope this helps. Cheerio!

Yeah, keep saying it. Maybe after a few more times it will balance out the bullsh*t you and Dork have been shoveling about getting rid of aliases and eliminating the "negativity" from users here. When you condone flamebait and you're too much of a p*ssy to confront the author of that flamebait directly then don't come crying when the thread explodes.Bubba wrote:
