downdraft quality product

Post by schifty »

Lucky no one got serioulsy hurt on saturday. Saw one guy trying to walk down when he went for a slide good thing DD had some loose snow.
K management should be forced to ski that and vertigo head wall both
had some quality product. Honestly if your going to just blow river ice why wast the time and money. Besides that the mountain is in sweet shape.
Kudos for opening K1 at 7:30 saturday :D

Both those trails were blown with very nice snow, but if you want bumps, the snow gets crappy after a few days... They cant go blow a foot of snow every 3 days to keep the bumps great... So its either what it has now, or groomed. Perhaps they will be first to get resurfaced whenever the next rainstorm hits, but most likely, nothing will be done till then.

Probably neither of those trails (Downdraft and Upper Vertigo) should have been open this weekend in the conditions they were in.

I was talking about the conditions of those trails on Saturday before the snow storm. That picture looks wonderful BTW and wish I was there to ski it today.
