OT: What was the first Music Concert you Went to?
Thanks Dork for bring up 70's music.
Anywho, mine was Elton John ("carried" Kiki Dee on stage and sang "Don't Go Breaking My Heart." She sang a few other tunes solo). I think I was in 6th or 7th grade.
I remember that the crowd went nuts when Elton sang "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road."

Grass Roots on the boardwalk in Atlantic City, around '68, that was a class trip. First real concert with friends and weed and all that nice stuff, was Frank Zappa at the Capital Theater in Passaic, around '73.
Capital Theater was also the place for the longest concert. Climax Blues Band, show started @ 8pm, I left around 5/6AM and heard it went on until about 7AM! Don't see that anymore

Can't top b-5's. : - )
Sometime in the lake 60's my parents took us to see the Cowsills at the Hatch shell on the Esplanade in Boston.
First concert on my own was either Cheech and Chong in the gym at Lowell Tech or Chicago at Boston Garden. Both were in the fall of '73. After the Cheech and Chong deal, my parents wouldn't let me go see Aerosmith at the same venue. All my friends went to that one.
(Best memory of the Chicago concert is drinkin' Tango in the ladies room. That's some nasty sh*t.)

I think it was 1986 - Triumph at Glens Falls civic center. Craziest light show I've seen at a concert and probably one of the loudest I've been to. Yngwie was supposed to open, but was a no show. Replacement was White Lion - years before they were even known - they really sucked - all they did was shake their hair back in forth in time with each other. Hanging out with my friends before the show getting wasted was just as fun as the show itself. Glad I got to see Triumph before they split up.
