Mount Snow Closing 4/27

Post by andyzee »

From their snow report:

"All good things must come to an end, however. Next week’s operating schedule will include Monday, April 21; Friday, April 25; Saturday, April 26; and Sunday, April 27, and then the lifts will stop spinning at Mount Snow for the season. We were the first ski area to open in Vermont, and we’ll be last to close in central/southern Vermont. How is that possible that the southernmost ski area in Vermont has the longest season? Fan guns, my friends. So stay tuned for news on this summer’s snowmaking improvement plan, and get ready to rock in early November. Thanks to everyone for a fabulous first year under the leadership of Peak Resorts."

2knees, if you haven't met RustyK, you two have to meet up. Two party animals that ski like crazy.

Looks like $49 bucks Adult. Probably have most of the Main face and North face.

It's been one hell of a year.

I bet you Sugarbush will do May...

I was planning on going there on 4/22 but I guess that will not happen now. I was planning on skiing it since it is 1-1/2 hours closer to home and would have made my trip home shorter. Oh well!!!

Bummer. They talked a big game about going into May. Seems that business must be off bit as spring arrives.
