This message has nothing to do with K, K has been reporting 0 inches of snow this past week...RedRider wrote:Holy sh*t!madvillain wrote:The message says it all
Powdr execs are probably shi*ting their pants right now
Is this one real?
If so, K-Mart just got SLAMMED !
(And they deserve it )
Shame Shame Shame
This message has to do with 1) Jay Peak, and how they flaunt their huge seasonal snowfall yet were closed the entire week and only reopening for the weekend, and 2) Mount Snow, and how they have been flaunting the edge to edge deep coverage by their fanguns, and yet remained closed the entire week and are also only reopening for the weekend.
It has nothing to do with Killington, K has reported fewer inches of snow this season, and has been closed reporting 0", where as other resorts were closed midweek this week, and yet still talkin about all their snow.

What? Its a pretty clear message.RedRider wrote:Oh please....
"Why boast more snow then the Bush if you weren't open ALL of this past week?"
1. K has not boasted more snow then the Bush. Sugarbush has reported more inches of snow this season, and far deeper base depths then K, when K was open. K was reporting I believe somewhere around 3-4' max upon its closing. Bush was still reporting over 6'.
It has to do with the "still open" resorts that were closed midweek, yet talking up about all the tons of snow they still have.
2. ALL of this past week. K was open for NONE of this past week, and was boasting no snow.
This message by Sugarbush had NOTHING to do with Killington.

"The King Of Spring" is a slogan K came up with, it wasn't some title that was awarded to them or something, that now "belongs to someone else".boston_e wrote:Regardless of who they are knocking... it is clear that Killington is no longer the King of Spring.
And if the only factor of being "The King" of spring is, longest spring season, then I guess K is:
THE KING OF EASTERN RESORTS, for the one simple reason, that they are the biggest.
1 Week Longer Spring Operations = King
Biggest Mountain By A Long Shot = King

Thats exactly my point, it has nothing to do with size.since1961 wrote:SS - I understand your need to spin this as best as possible but if the "King of Spring" kmart has been proclaiming had to do with size then wouldn't kmart be the "king of winter"? Appears your manure spreader is working fine down there.
