New Garlic reviews?

Post by KBL Ed »

Has anyone been to The "new" Garlic since ownership changed? Better or worse?

I know that Shatski and Lillywhite are big fans of the martinis there. Not sure about the food though. Then again, a martini is an appetizer, no?

The way my head feels, I think they were main courses last night.

Food is improved over the old garlic. Ate there once this year. Had rack of lamb. It was good, but a little salty.

Martini's are spectactular, but pricey!!

Yes the new Garlic is much improved. Had some tapas and split an entree on Sunday. There were even some wild animals on the menu (no, I'm not talking about shortski).

Bartenders seem to know what they're doing for once. They even had Negroni on the cocktail list. I'll have to get them to add a proper Sidecar on there for the next time they update the list.

Blitzen and I had dinner there a few weeks ago. Didn't seem like much improvement. Our dinners were OK. Nothing to write home about. The martini was delicious though. We'd go back for the bar, but probably not for dinner.

Yes, that was him on January 30th

I didn't even notice the date on the post and I didn't remember reading it before so I must have missed it the first time around.

That's funny. I just think it is dump and lazy to start a whole new thread on a subject that has already been discussed.
