okemo/mountsnow/killington season pass
So I go to college in amherst, ma and I'm thinking about getting a college season pass. My 3 options are killington, mount snow, or okemo. All of them are $299 no black out dates. But Okemo's I can use at stratton and mount snows I can use at attitash. Okemo is about 1 hour 45min away, mount snow is about an hour away and killington is about 2 hour 20 mins away. What do you guys think I should get?
thanx

Need more info - what level skier/rider are you - what type of mountain did you learn on - would all your trips be 'day trips' - is nightlife important - have you checked at school for rideshare to see what other students are doing, and so on . . .
Good luck on your final decision . . .

Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

Learned to ski at k when I was young. Ski out west every year. Have skied everything at k. Nightlife is not too important because it will be day trips mostly.MrsG wrote:Need more info - what level skier/rider are you - what type of mountain did you learn on - would all your trips be 'day trips' - is nightlife important - have you checked at school for rideshare to see what other students are doing, and so on . . .

I'm leaning towards okemo because it includes stratton but I've never been to okemo or stratton. Considering mount snow because it's real close and has good park this year. I'm iffy on killington because it is so far away and rides might be hard. I read on here that you guys might consider ride sharing this year?

Back in the day rides to Mount Snow used to be really easy to score from fellow skiers (no riders then) from U Mass. With use of the Greenfield cut off you can make Mt Snow well under an hour from Amherst which made mid week powder afternoons a reality. Berkshire East used to send a bus to do pick ups on campus.
