Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

So the POWDR no hike enforcement army hasnt shot anyone "stealing their product"? Oh wait, you mean there are no SNOW guns, so hence no need for the PNHEA to be on patrol yet.laseranimal wrote:good morning folk this is laser with you bay one report

Re: 6:35 am bay one report
What a beautiful morning! Blue sky and, from my house looking through the trees, I can see a lot of white up higher on the mountain just glistening in the sunshine. It looks like the snow was pretty heavy up top and I can see the white stuff from here on Skye Peak, Killington Peak and over to Snowdon. If I get a few minutes I'll go out and take some pictures but, for the moment, I'm stuck at my desk with a scheduled phone call coming up. By the way, the forecast from Channel 5 for next week calls for the potential for a pretty good......(oops, never mind, don't want to jinx anything)...at least at higher elevations.

Here are a few photos from around 11:30 AM today. It actually looked like they may have groomed some trails like Superstar in order to pack the snow but we'll have to wait for Laser to report after he finishes his hike.

Re: 6:35 am bay one report
alright folks I'm back home, I've got some stuff to tidy up around the house but the raw helmetcam footy is uploading as we speak
no harassment from the authorities, but it was pretty funny, as I came off the mountain I saw Dromond and Jonathan S from TGR parked in the drop off area gearing up. As we were all standing around with skis, the alarm went off in KBL, I don't know if they were testing it or whether it was an early warning system for stopping hikers. Either way it was pretty hilarious.
And not only did I hit it switch, I rode it all the way to the access road
