Wish I had gotten the womans name that was operating it one day last week.
She really knew how to run that lift, rare that happens.
Most of the lifties on the Poma are ok, but far to often you get one that has no clue.
OTOH, getting 10 feet of air loading is amusing from time to time.
Of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most.

Dr.No said the same thing about the line and it causing problems once the racing season starts if the terrain park is still placed there.
what problems could it cause? if thats the designated racing trail, the racers will have to wait...

park folks dont really care...
uh . . . . how about for "regular skiers" who want to cycle the Poma....? and don't say just take the Slowden Quad...

By all means continue to wait in the poma line, the rest of us "non-regulars" will shred the gnar elsewhere. As others have commented waiting in the Poma line is retarded for the amount of terrain you can lap off of it. The reason putting the jib kids and the racers in one spot works BEAUTIFULLY is both groups get a disproportionate share of early season resources from a terrain standpoint and during the early season they're an annoyance to everyone else on the hill who isn't a rat or a stick chaser. I'm making a sweeping generalization here, but they both can be selfish groups that think they own the mountain and this is a good way to make them share.

Whoever decided to move the park and race training to the Poma gets a medal IMHO. I'd much rather cycle the Glades triple with Reason and East Fall open then ride the Poma
Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

I do laps on the poma every day for the park. Line is not bad. The gate chasers look at me like a moron in my get-up, but who doesn't...if you dont like the wait they go to the quad or tripple and that will solve your problem real quick.

STOP COMPLAINING!!!!!! why cant you people go ski and not complain, holy f***!

were they laughing at your tall tee?

it is fun to complain, if you havent noticed, because everyone is entitled to more than they are being given. that park up there is pretty sweet though...

It is a great park, and more importantly, it is being used - can't get in there to do the "park cordouroy" . . . even midweek . . . :Toast :seeya

I agree with laser if I was skiing I like the fact that the park rats and stick chaser had to share. Nice move powder.

I also have no interest in cycling on bunny train. it early season but so what, I can find better train then bunny buster. One of the whole points to skiing killington is if one life has a long line move to the next. why wait.
A surface poma is the slowest type lift. Killington just seems that way because it's only 200' feet of vertical :-)

Quit bitching about one lift, unless your a park rat or stick chaser.

See you all at New Years.

That Poma lift certainly gets up and moves. Fster than a fixed grip chairlift for sure
