Lower Superstar was just as good this afternoon as it was Sunday afternoon. Nice bumps on skiers right.
comming home, Rte 4 was a mess around the killington Pico motor inn as the moisture in the road was freezing quickly.
careful driving as temps are dropping and roads are getting slick. above KP Motor Inn the road was snowcovered and was fine

**edit** forgot to mention it snowed 2-3" this afternoon. things were refreshing nicely

Thanks for pics SS, keep up the good work!

Very impressive snowmaking assault this year. This is the earliest we've see snowmaking on Contusion since Pres Smith called the shots. Haven't seen this much snowmaking this early in at least 10 years.

Last year was comparable. Like every year, Killington blows snow 24x7 from pre-Thanksgiving onwards. If it stays cold, they make a lot of snow. If it's warm, there isn't much open. The main difference is that the new owners don't have the suicidal drive to blow snow on Snowshed and Rams Head pre-Thanksgiving only to see it melt out and need to be resurfaced over and over and over and over. Blowing Caper and Great Northern to get access to the Vale and Rams Head parking lots without needing a shuttle bus for Thanksgiving was just about right.

kinda late report but oh well: good day, some trails hard and slick, others soft and nice. Snowdon trees had a little fluff but still too crusty. RH trees were in full effect on friday, best trees I could find all day. Nice fluff on a perfect base. Some pics:
Chute (around 9:40 am)

Vagabond (nice, a little crusty in places but plenty of fluff on the sides)

Awesome low angle trees @ RH

In the year's I have been skiing up there I cannot remember them expanding this fast, weather good or not. To see snowmaking on Conclusion and Ovation in early december is awesome... Then again I never really got up enough in the past 8 years or so to judge well.

This one had the table about 16" above the ramp. The kid came straight at it on skiis, and although he tried to jump up, there was no lift at all. The ski tips hit the table full on, and the kid sort of pole vaulted via the skis onto the table, belly flop style. Slid down the entire table on his stomach (Western bar fight style according to Geoff) and yard sale ensued at the end of it. Very funny stuff. You could sell the video, if we had one, which we don't.
They call those boxes. Table Tops are flat snow jumps
