Vertigo around the Snowshed Xover is also in need.

They really need to blow/push snow to an easier entrance to Needles Eye. Panic Button ain't intermediate-friendly.

Lower Ovation has seen snowmaking this season, so that would be resurfacing (although it is now closed due to conditions).

They NEED to make snow on Devil's Fiddle. Yes, it is (was?) open, but it's been soo rocky it's not worth skiing.....

Can't imagine there will ever be snowmaking on DF again. It's a waste of snowmaking...

They definitely should not blow snow on devil's fiddle. It is a natural snow trail, and while there are rocks, it adds to the challenge of the trail. I would be VERY disappointed if they blew snow on it because it would reduce the natural coverage and the feeling of the trail. If they are going to blow snow on it, how about they just groom it, take out the rock garden, and not let people have fun?

LOL....it is NOT a natural snow trail. Never has been, except for the last two years, and 04-05 IIRC. It's also much narrower than it used to be, as much as 80-100 ft narrower in the middle/bottom section. Problem is, most people funnel into the lower section and gets skied down to rocks and stumps. It is regularly the worst cover on the mountain. Not that can't ski it, I just don't feel like destroying my skis to do it. Also, with the thin cover it makes the cliffs more dangerous to hit.

Even 1-2 feet on the whole trail would make a huge difference, and still leave most of the larger terrain features exposed.

the trail was designed as a snowmaking trail. it would have never made sense to design a trail that steep and that wide at that elevation w/SE orientation w/o snowmaking. SKI used to blow snow on it every year. it became less frequent under ASC but even they made snow on it in '06. my feeling is they should just put a good base on it and then leave it to mama nature. wow can't believe i'm actually agreeing w/hs ...
