Yup, this past Sunday was the first time I have ever had my pass scanned at the Summit Chair @ Pico.

I'm curious to see what happens with spring. The amount of snow on Superstar is pretty high. It does seem like the snowmaking over the weekend was beyond just resurfacing. It will be interesting to see how this pans out.

Also, if they do close on "schedule" it will be rough to see them close up when there is still major snow on Super.

They did the same thing last season, even later in the season, and with a lot more snow. A shitload of snowmaking on Superstar for days right after a major snowstorm with already great conditions.

And they made huge piles of snow on Skyelark too.

Ya and then the ass clowns closed in April when they clearly could have stayed open to mid may with ease.

Depends upon which slope you are on. Many have great conditions and there was good snow. But, some were just a bit too firm in places, or as the coach at Sugarloaf said to us, I don't like skiing over the FISH.

A few years ago it was $50. I lost my pass and got directed to the Pass Office that wanted to charge me the fee. Instead I called Rich McGarry and he took care of it. A few days later my old pass showed up in the Pass Office and i got a call that it had been turned in.
A few years ago I believe I was charged $72 for a replacement pass. (It may have been $76... it was the equivalent cost of a day ticket whatever that was at the time.) I tried making a few calls but nobody would help me.

As far as securing your pass... I'll never use one of those stringy retractable things again. I keep it either tucked in a pocket, in the built in pass holder of a jacket, or in an arm band. (I didn't buy a pass this year, but I'd love to know what the replacement fee for the express card is).

wow, that is crazy. maybe two or three seasons ago under ASC both Gobig and I walked in at the same time and got a free pass replacement. they told us the first one is free, the second is $25.
