Collisions are an assumed risk on the mountain.
Collisions ARE NOT an assumed risk!!
They are a direct result of carelessness and are ALWAYS avoidable.

anyone who hits a 5yr old kid is a flat out dbag. you see a kid, you slow down and give them some space. if you're jumping off something, have a buddy spot your landing. what is the world coming to?

everyone deserves competent counsel if they desire so. attorney have a duty to be a zealous advocate for their clients regardless if you personally agree with them. role differentiation, merely one small part in our democratic system.

listen, I understand the entire ramifications of the evolution of lawyers. Basically they stop differing parties from shooting each other... And make big bux as a result...
Its just pretty easy to hate the tactics... Although if I'm on the other side of the coin I'd certainly want one of those demons on my side...
It basically a chicken and egg thing...

Re: Why skiers don't like snowboarders and attorneys
Hi everyone! This is the 5yr. olds mom posting......
To clarify the first posting where the person hit our son and claimed he was not being supervised is only his opinion. Peter was skiing behind our daughter and I was three turns away from our son. When I got to our son and had my skis off, the young man had just finished taking off his board and had stood up. I'm not sure how much closer I could have been. Maybe all parents of minors should have their children ski between their legs (wouldn't that be a sight to see with a 16 yr. old skiing between a parents legs!) As for lawyers, well I have many close relatives who are excellent lawyers....this kid's just happens to not know how to represent his client to make his client "seem" the victim.
