Customer service . . .
from Sugarbush . . . Killington should take notice . . .
This morning's email:
Wednesday, April 8th at 9:10 a.m.
The tease of 'spring' is on a temporary delay, as winter leaves us with yet another 2 inches of new snow on top; 1 inch at 'mid'. Added to yesterday's totals, we've received 5 inches on upper trails since Monday night, allowing us to reopen Twist, Mall, Morning Star, Sunrise, and Moonshine! We're opening trails, not closing them (as we push for May?)!

Re: Customer service . . .
Maybe they should "do the right thing" and close mon-thu and then perhaps close April 12? Or just close April 12? This is what other large ski areas in Vermont are doing and they are "the good guys". The guys who "get it". . . .skiadikt wrote:alright spill it. hopefully they're gonna do the right thing regarding needles. even better would be bear ...skiingsnow wrote:Killington had 58 trails open yesterday and is up to 64 trails today as they continue to open terrain also!!! Sorry, but I didn't mean they are going to open mountain areas they have already closed. I meant there are more trails on the mountain areas already open that will be reopened 'soon', with several having aready reopened today.
For tomorrow Killington has another trail listed as open.

wait til he's 21 and he's hanging with you and SS at LTB as his hometown local bar like the rest of them bridgewater folk do. Think of all the stimulating conversations you three will have...Geoff wrote:Skippy really does need a girlfriend or somethin'.

SS, these "good guys" that you speak of, because of how they handle themselves to their customers don't have their core crew pissed off at them. And to boot, they threw one awesome 1st ever winter brewers fest last weekend for their customers and it was so successfull that before it even ended, next years edition was already penciled into the calender. Imagine that, you host a FUN, laid back, spring event that ENCOURAGES the enjoyment of BEER and customers have a GREAT time! Whoever would have thought that would happenskiingsnow wrote:Maybe they should "do the right thing" and close mon-thu and then perhaps close April 12? Or just close April 12? I guess they are some of the guys(and gals) that "get it"

Stimulating conversations? There would be two of us listening to Shortski go on about his topic du jour instead of just one. All I can ever do is snipe one-liners whenever he pauses to take a gulp of his beer.ozzy wrote:wait til he's 21 and he's hanging with you and SS at LTB as his hometown local bar like the rest of them bridgewater folk do. Has Killington started closing perfectly skiable stuff yet just because they feel like closing it?
Don't Killington Pico
