Speaking of the police, the cops on the taconic were insane on saturday morning, I saw one person get pulled over by a trooper on 84 then, 4 others on the taconic, and a few more troopers just chillen.

I got nabbed in Brattleboro on the way up Friday night. Trooper was unexpectedly nice. Blew by him doing 95 in a 65. Pulled me over and said lazer had me at 97.

He came back from his car after taking my license and registration, and handed me a ticket for $79.00. Thats right, $79.00 - the smallest permissible fine he can issue. Says he saved me $375 and a night in the slammer.

I said, "Thank you."

You got it. I usually keep behind someone going at least as fast as I'm going, and then the radar/laser jammer keep me well covered.

However, for some reason, I found myself haulin ass in the fast lane solo, and blew right by a statie in the median sitting in blackness (arent they supposed to at least have their parking lights on or something?). Jammer busts through at less than 100 feet to protect me from being caught as the jamming device. Didn't protect me from mr statie tho.

Then I thought to myself....3 miles to exit 4, I'm going 95 and he's starting from 0, um, can I outrun him, um, no.
