I know they are going to paint around 5 Lifts between Pico and Killington. RamsHead and Knomes Knoll to name a few. Also, they are going to buff out the windows in the Gondolas.

Hi,

First time on this site. I have a friend working at K this summer working on lifts. He told me that he'll be doing repair work, minor upgrades and painting to the following lifts:

Ramshead
Snowdon Poma
Sunrise
South Ridge

Outpost
Knomes Knole

He also mentioned that the towers from Devil's Fiddle will be used for a new lift next year.

Next time you see your friend, ask him to try to get the footrest covers replaced. The pitted metal is horrible.

I like to think that Killington is banking money this year in anticipation of spending twice as much next year on really big project. Unfortunately, the sky isn't always blue on my planet.

It is my understanding that the following season will bring the replacement of two lifts. South Ridge, and Snowdon (Triple), I have also heard that the replacement of several buildings is on the agenda as well. My hunch is the Peak Lodge, as well as Snowshed and Ramshead.

Snowshed and Ramshead will be replaced by one "skier services building" that straddles the access road as part of the village development plan. That won't happen for a number of years; probably 2016 - 2017.

It is my understanding that they will be pushing to build the "skier service" building in the next year or two. I have been told that there will be some sort of announcement this summer.

Most likely if anything than paint will be a new Snowdon HSQ? Someday maybe?

You whiney a-clowns will still be on this site whining and skiing at K whether they do anything or not next season.
