heard a rumor from so well respected locals that they need to do so drainage on the snowshed pond for upcoming triathalon so they are thinking of blowing snow on superstar tonight with the cold temps ..there are some personel still working that can do this and chris wants to see what the snow would be like this time of year

Please, please let that be true. It must be falling below the freezing point up there because the temperatures are supposed to drop to the 30s just a bit N and W of Long Island. Glad I did not plant many things yet. Hope those that I did plant will survive.

Checked the temp, 35, to warm, but supposed to be in the mid 20's tonight, fire them up and get it on the 6 oclock news!

I also heard from a reliable source, that they may empty the water onto a trail to prevent it from flowing through the streams and leaving dangerous amounts of silt . . . but, snow - :bull :wink:

Edit: Also, hope they have this done before Memorial weekend . . . it'll be interesting what they will get to when they hit the bottom . . . nose plugs please :mrgreen:

just checked webcam... tele mode isn't working so the resolution is too low to get any reliable info...

i see all sort of little moving things on supe... but that might just be noise from the low res... can't tell

Anybody who thinks they are blowing snow on Superstar tonight, tomorrow, next week, or anytime within the next 5 months is seriously delusional. You people are whacked. :roll:
