Looks like the forums are down. I can't get on and I've never posted there before.

AlpineZone.com We're back. At least for now. We're really pushing the capability of a semi-dedicated server so if we go down again, it's down for an upgrade.

Jeff DeschlerYou're still running shared hosting? PASR went dedicated years ago.

AlpineZone.com The forums are being blocked. We've been getting slammed with traffic that it's bringing the shared server to a hault. Looking into upgrading.

Andy ZeeShouldn't they just put some sites on another server if this one can't handle it? Why should you have to upgrade?

Almost seems like it. But you figure in this day and age a hosting company would be able to handle something like that.

I'm guessing that Killington paid Greg a thousand or 2 to shut it down for a couple days, so they don't have a riot on their hands if they don't open.....

Right? Pretty pathetic. And PASR is on a dedicated server buy AlpineZone isn't? Weak sauce.

OMG, I can't log into Alpine Zone. How will I survive the day without those tidbits of ski information and over regulated threads that most people don't know about. :?

Well, actually I think they get more traffic than in here, and it is probably more constructive but damn, is it that necessary?

Not only do I need to dry out, I need to disconnect! Maybe more of us also need to disconnect for a few moments.
