Not me. Reichle were my first, Nordica, Technica, San Marco, Dolomite and back to Nordica. Note, broke 2 pair of San Marco and the Dolomites. Just split the uppers off the boots.KingsFourMan wrote:fess up, you had a pair. you know the ones i'm talking about - rear entry, jell packs. i had em. man did they suck.

Dolomite Knee highs? Remember that short lived fad. Nordica had a knee high boot as well.Dr. NO wrote:Not me. Reichle were my first, Nordica, Technica, San Marco, Dolomite and back to Nordica. No, the knee highs were back when I was a poor Sgt. in the Air Farce so I couldn't afford REAL ski boots. The Reichle's were my first pair back then. Should have just stayed with the AF rentals.KingsFourMan wrote:Dolomite Knee highs? Remember that short lived fad. Nordica had a knee high boot as well.Dr. NO wrote:Not me. Hence, that is why she's an ex? :) I like how people called them "hatchbacks".Bubba wrote:I never had 'em but my ex-wife did.
San Marco: wow, that's another name from the past. Do they still exist?
Es war sehr schoen.
Over ten years... not including RSN or K-Chat. Way too much time wasted.
Smell you later.

I use an old pair of San Marcos when I do the pond skimming (because I always end up in the pond)KBL Ed wrote:Hence, that is why she's an ex? :) I like how people called them "hatchbacks".Bubba wrote:I never had 'em but my ex-wife did.

San Marco is HEAD now.
Those Hansens were horrible. That rubber liner was such a sweatbox, the best time to use those boots was springtime with no socks. Wow, I haven't seen a pic of those Burts in years. At least they were slightly more reliable than Spademans. Heavy but otherwise not the worst thing out there at the time.
