You're a douchbag for tipping like that. You must be Canadian, or worse even, British . .

The one in Rut might have some problems and you maybe got the wrong waitress. The one in Burlington has a different owner who is very much on top of things. So you had a problem with the coffee and 'bucca, but how was the food?

I"ll say one thing I liked the food, but when a manager comes out and tells me that they only have 10 teaspoons and have more on order, I'm sorry, I have a problem with that. Not to mention, ran out of coffee mugs. You know what, maybe they shouldn't be selling coffee. Nah, there's plenty of other good restaurants around. Speaking of Burlington, I was actually felt like heading up there for dinner, shame it's a bit of a ride. Last few times we were there we ate at Ri Ra Irish Pub, great food!
Try Leunig's or Sweetwaters on Church Street, or Single Pebble a couple blocks off Church for Asian. Or, if you just want drinks and burger type food with music in the summer right on the lake, try Breakwaters.

If you order a ham sandwich and are served sh*t on rye, do you leave a tip? You must be a f*** idiot, a tip is earned. In this case it wasn't and not just becuase of the coffee but the attitude that came with it.

Now I'm done.

Ironically, just ate there this evening.

Excellent meal and excellent service. Have eaten there around 10 times total now and have yet to have a bad experience.

Unfortunate that you had a bad experience. It is definitely not a regular problem by any means.

I was told Andyzee was off the booze. Maybe they thought the same.

Ate there 2 weeks ago, good food, good service. Very knowledgeable and friendly waitress. Didn't need no spoons.

I'd lighten up some Andy. Turn the big spoon over and use the handle. It's not like it's your daughter's wedding. They should have brought the shots you ordered and corrected the snafu immediately though.

Is this what happens if one only skis for maybe 2 hours on a beautiful day? Why the heck would anyone stay in Rutland anyway?

You ever waited tables before Andy?? This was POOR FORM...the watiress doesnt own the place. Its not her fault for shoddy management, she/he is jsut trying to get paid.

Im sorry you had a bad experience, but it sure didnt sound like it was the waitresses fault, which is EXACTLY who you penalized.

Fully agree. Total D-----B-- move. You literally took money out of the waitress's pocket, due to how withholding tax works.

Um, that's not a cocktail glass. Sounds like an Irish coffee glass, which is OK for hot drinks. Odd to put cappuccino in there, but at least it is a hot drink. You're ordering a cappuccino in RUTLAND, and you're getting all high-and-mighty about the stemware? Espresso is the correct coffee drink to pair with Sambuca, anyway; cappuccino is a breakfast drink.

I've never heard of adding Sambuca to a cappuccino. Definitely should go with the espresso. KBL Ed is correct on this one.
