Man of Kent Tavern (on way to Mt. Snow)

Post by herb1980 »

I am headed to Mt. Snow on Thursday night for some skiing Friday. I used to have a ski house at Mt. Snow and would always drive by this place on Rt. 7 just outside on Bennington called Man of Kent Tavern. I never stopped in once. What is the deal with this place? Do they have good food & beer? May try stopping there tomoorow night on the way up.

I pass it all the time but I've only been there a few times. The place has pretty good pub food and I think they had some decent beers on tap. It always seems to have a pretty good crowd there.

Stopped in for the first time on my way to Stratton last month. It was late on a Friday night so the place was pretty empty. The owner is from England and it just so happened that we had a couple of Brits with us (co-workers) so they immediately hit it off. After a couple of rounds of beers, we were on our way. The owner gave one member of our party a six pack in celebration of her father's b'day back home in the UK.
