I have poor impulse control/ great deals

Post by schuss »

Picked up the TGR summit stickers today, and on the way back, I noticed a sports authority. I said "what the hey" and decided to check it out. When I came to, I was outside with a pair of 165 FB's (so I can be just like Mtn. Man) and a receipt for 108 bucks. And a want to go back in and buy stomps for cheap too. I held myself back though, as I chopped off a leg with the fb edge as it went for the store. However, sports authority in manch has a ton of skis left (some volants, lots of atomics, some dynastars and a bunch of nice solly's) and its all 40% off. Oh, and no sales tax.

yep, they had 1080's there. Stomps are 84 waist, nice atomic twintip that I've always wanted to try. If you rip off the stupid atomic plate they're superlight.

1080's - ??? in NJ

Post by panelman01 »

Hey All -
Sports Authority in Ledgewood, NJ has at least a dozen 1080's on sale at the $349 price. Over half the stock is in the 171 length that I ski... These are my absolute favorite ski for trail edge fluff and bumps, trees and of course chasing my son through the terrain park. They even kindof sortof carve if you really lay them over and work them. A friggin steal at that price.....
Going where the wind don't blow so strange. Maybe on some high cold mountain range.
