Shale Oil/Gas Drilling Video

Post by Bubba »

This is an interesting video that explains how horizontal drilling and hydraulic "fracking" are now being used to produce previously unrecoverable reserves. As a result of shale gas plays in the northeast, Texas, Louisiana and elsewhere, we're now swimming in natural gas.

If we are swimming in natural gas, then why haven't my bills for the product been reduced?

Call Keyspan and ask them why the market price of natural gas has dropped by 50% or more over the past two years but your price hasn't come down.

Reading up a bit on it, it seems the actual leak is some 5000 FEET below the surface. They need a Rogman vessel to get down there and plant the charge to shut it down. You would think there would be a series of valves to prevent just this type of thing.

Stop driving your car, turn off the lights and move South so you don't have to heat our home! Cooking can be done on a fire outside.

Watch this Dr. Dumbass. You'll be thrilled. You can cook with the flammable water coming out of your faucet.
