I think Mark got an email addy from your wife and will be sending you others. We have a bunch that I didn't put up in the gallery. Alisha (I think that was her name) did a great job with them. It was too bad she had off Fri.IceDevil wrote:My daughter was in there she was number 17 (Madison). Very impressed she did great!
Sorry we didn't formally meet.

IceDevil do you ever come up on the weekends? Too bad you did not meet up with Dr. Z, HelmetCam, Knuckledragger and Jon4Snow. You would have a great time with them. Glad to see another set of parents who are initiating their daughter in the sport. My daughter started in First Tracks and is now in Ministars in the Blue level. They tried her in the Purple level recently but she still does not follow directions as well as she should so she will be staying in Blue for the rest of the year. Her instructors though think that she skis on the level of a 10 year old and she is only 4 years old.IceDevil wrote:My daughter was in there she was number 17 (Madison). The K-zone has skiers of all abilities so I am sure you would find someone to ski with. SkiDork is good about taking beginner/intermediates under his wing and try to teach them how to improve. Also Shortski has been known to try to help out people who are trying to improve especially if they were females.IceDevil wrote:This was the first year I was not up on a weekend. I think I need to somehow figure out how to get up there more than 1x a year.
Especially after being there for all that fresh snow last week.
Plus I think my skiing will greatly improve when I get around some better skiers.

As much as I would have liked to, I didn't feel that it was safe yet to try the "hangers" as he calls the lift. We did take him over to Snowshed in the area with the handle tow on a Racer Chaser leash setup. It is wide open, very few people and a slightly steeper pitch (or is it gradientIceDevil wrote:Yes, too bad Dr. Z, my wife is going to be sending some pics along too. Were you able to take Alex out on the mounatin anywhere ? How did he do ?

He seemed to really enjoy it and pitched a royal fit after two hours when we said it was time to go in for a break. A sugar waffle made it ok though. I told him when he was a little bigger then we would get on the "hangers".
