Show piece for the visiting ski area personnel at a ski area conference. I think they unloaded a couple snow cats in bay 5 yesterday for show and tell, and have snow equipment down at snowshed. Dog and Pony show at K, and doing a fine job of it, it appears (except for some fau paus that occurred)tt431 wrote:I would imagine they have another one. If this is true, that is F'in Awesome!! Although I do find it hard to believe that they would let them walk down. Any moron who has half a brain knows to call one of the snowmakers or someone else who is working that night over with a sled or some other form of transportatoin and make it a priority to get those guys down first. Hilarious.johnny the jibber wrote:the sleigh broke lastnight on the ride back over to snowshed. supposedly Cumming and basically all the higher ups had to walk down snowshed back to the hotel in street clothes.Big Bob wrote:According to a Tweet yesterday by a Mr Cummings, the snow cat pulling the sleigh to the Yurt got stuck for a while. They did eventually make it... I wonder if a snow cat operator was separated from the payroll after that incident!
