I have driven by it a few times the last few days. Still there, a big tree down in the yard (went down towards rt 4, no damage). I have no idea what, if any, water damage they may have had, I didn't see that area until Tuesday and there was no evidence of any water damage but I was driving and only looked at the building for maybe 10 seconds 3-4 different times so I am very unsure about flooding. . .Adrienne wrote:I heard Hemingways is gone/washed away. Got email from the Board President that Pinnacle Condos were fine. A little water in the spa in the ground floor of E building put that's about it.

You cannot get to Pico from Rutland by your own car right now unless you're an emergency vehicle. The Bus is now running several runs a day back and forth from Killington to Rutland with limited stops. See transportation and other update thread or check the town's website for updated schedules.Scotchvalley wrote:Is it possable to access Pico condos from Rutland? I'm confused, I thought rt4 was wiped out way down in Mendon. Are the Pico condos habitable? I thought I read in another post that the sewage system was destroyed?

Re: Property and Other Damage Reports
Despite the rumors that Hemingway's was totaled, it has survived Ok. It had a mudslide/landslide in the parking lot and 2 feet of water in the basement.

KO, so Hemingways is there, I believe in the other thread or somewhere I heard Pasta Pot was still standing, NOW How is our beloved TRL???? A small stream comes off the hill right behind it and of course many of us live in the basement most of the winter.

Re: Property and Other Damage Reports
Saw Pasta Pete Tuesday morning at the Goodro/KoKopelli rockpile and he said he had some flooding and may have lost a couple fridges--but otherwise Ok. Mt Times building next door had problems and heard the same for TRL, but I think manageable. I don't think anything down there got it as bad as the Kokopelli which got it head on. Almost amazing it is still standing.Stache wrote:KO, so Hemingways is there, I believe in the other thread or somewhere I heard Pasta Pot was still standing, NOW How is our beloved TRL???? Re: Property and Other Damage Reports
Matt, our property manager, has not been here except for a few hours on Wednesday. Only one or two units suffered any water infiltration. I assume Matt has contacted those owners so if you haven't heard anything, that's good news. I will e-mail him, however, and get unit numbers and get them to you via PM.stegsg wrote:Anyone know which units at trail creek had water damage . I have a lower level unit by parking lot. Re: Property and Other Damage Reports
Was by there yesterday, building suffered no external damage, new shed intact, moderate to severe scouring of parking lot. His biggest problem may be the extensive damage to the intersection of Rt 4 & 100S. Saw him at the Long Trail not sure of day all running together.BRSKIS wrote:Does anyone know the status of Blanche and Bills? The owner Andy is a friend of mine. Thanks!

Re: Property and Other Damage Reports
As far as I know . . . The homes up there are fine with the exception of one house that had a landslide below it into the Tweed . . That house is very close to falling all the way in... Not sure whos home it is... It is on a driveway to the right probably like the third or fourth house . .loridean wrote:Does anyone know about damage on Heritage Heights, the Highwood development off of Tweed River Drive. Re: Property and Other Damage Reports
This may be considered off-topic since it doesn't cover Vermont, but I thought I'd just throw it on the table.
A few days before Irene, my home in Bridgeport, CT got hit by a ball lightning. We lost phone, Internet, and cable TV for 24 hours. I had to buy a new microwave oven and a new router. Oddly, the radio in a car parked 30 feet away lost its ability to receive AM radio but can still receive FM. Oh well... no more Rush Limbaugh for that dude.
For those of you who live in the flat lands, there were rumors on Facebook and in other grape vine sources that Six Flags Great Adventure had extensive damage from Irene and a tornado, and some of the major rides were destroyed. I'm not sure if some of you heard them or not, but I just wanna say that none of them are true. I was there Sunday (Sept 4th) and things seem to be OK. However, Kingda Ka is down for probably several weeks due to a launch malfunction not related to the storm.
