Anyone know how Ken, the Property manager at Pinnacle Condos made out?

His house is right behind the Kokopelli Inn and the overhead pics don't go over far enough to show the house.

Talked to a friend of mine who is near the far end of CC and he said he was getting in and out ok.

Ken's house looks good from the outside. Didn't get the rock landslide damage like the KoKopelli but I think he may have had some water damage since the creek next to his house rose. Ken was there yesterday and there must be some damage because the Fema guy wanted to know how to get to his house to check it out.

Hi All,

Hope you are all doing well, it's nice to see updates.

I've been going to "K" since the mid 80s and it's always heald some of my best times. I know there is bigger damage and more important stuff but does anyone know how the Outback made out? i know there is a river right behind there and i thought the koala bear had a rough night.

thanks all!

The Outback is fine and has been open. Most if not all the places on the access road came through without damage, although the back parking area at the Pickle Barrel was washed out. They're already working on repairs.

Anyone know what the status is for the main roads into Killington?

Is there an official time frame or progress report?

Offical pronouncements are found at www.killingtontown.com. Unofficially, they're making good progress on Route 4 through Mendon, at least based on video shown on the Killington Resort Facebook page. They've gotten Route 4 East reopened although they're still limiting traffic. Our property manager has been allowed to come in from Clarendon via 103 and 100 north and reports good progress being made on getting 100 reopened. He still, however, has to take a detour up and around through the Hawk development and makeshift trails back to 100 in order to get around one of the road breaks in Plymouth.

Thanks. Is there any idea of which road is more important to fix? Rt 4 in Mendon to the west or Rt 4 near River Road?

We'd like to keep discussion in this thread to a minimum, but that's a fair question. Both are important and, in fact, Rt. 4 by River Road is already passable and open, although traffic on Rt. 4 is still being limited. Mendon is the tougher fix but AOT appears to be making great progress.

I know somebody who had a car stuck up there during the storm. They're on the other side of the lower Home Stretch tunnel / Overlook. The town did enough road repair that they were able to get out on Thursday. I'll bet the road is still pretty trashed. I'd fill out the town property check request form and ask them to check your place.

The town web site: http://www.killingtontown.com/

The online form: http://www.killingtontown.com/index.asp ... 7A480D3ABE}

Is it true that Hemmingways and Pasta Pot are gone? I thought I saw Hemmingways in an aerial photo, looked like the parking lot was a mud pit.

I believe that Pasta may have lost a walk-in or two and that the worst damage to Hemingway's was the parking lot. I can't find a reference at the moment, but I believe that both came out better than it looked from the outside.
