We own two homes there but have not even tried to go to K.
It's just a pity that people like you get to say what you want and insult others.
Many others have said the same that you did without being a assclown.
Beware of fools & trolls here, they lurk everywhere.

He is right, this isn't a tourist destination. I am just hoping for a speedy repair, whatever that may entail and understanding it may take awhile . . .
It just seemed you all thought it would be business as usual regarding Rt 4, and I was shocked.
We who have second homes at K have a large investment there and want to check on our homes first hand. Secondly, I am sure the restaurants would be happy to have some business and support from us.

We who have primary homes here and have a larger investment here would prefer you to stay the f*** home and let these crews work w/ MINIMAL disruption.
2 minutes traffic convoys passing by X 30 times a day = 1 hour of work/day =more time lost to get the roads back open....GET IT????????????????????
Let alone one of you self absorbed clowns ending up in a washout and shutting down local access

Same old crap out of some of you, you will take our money but otherwise shut the F up.
moneygripp-you new to K...sounds like it....
we all want the same thing safe roads, maybe better than they were before!
Sounds like you are a newbie to me!
What's your job? Oh you don't have one.
I will wait for the roads to reconstructed before I come and check out my home.
Everyone that loves K is anxious and wants to know what's happening. Several of my friends lost homes etc...and you where do you live?
Please remember that tourists bring in money to be spent in town and you benefit as well.
By rough math, this section of road brings about $60 million in revenue to Killington town every year. On a busy weekend day it can see over 10,000 vehicles, even a reduced capacity is going to cause traffic backups and reduced business. If it's not open by ski season, they're in deep trouble.

I'm seeing this Vt'rs vs. Outsiders sentiment crop up on other places on the Web too. Where does it end? Who is catagorized as an outsider?
Killington has always been a community of people during the winter with many backgrounds. That's one of the things that makes it a great place. Let's not let this tragedy rip the greater community apart please.
For right now, everyone that does not need to be at Killington should avoid it. Come October/November and through this winter, travel may be challenging for everyone. Regardless of that challenge hopfully most of the greater community including "outsiders" will make the effort to be there to support the community.
Everyone in the community is "in this together" one way or another.

Thats not the case you f*** dolt. We NEED you to stay the f*** home. People are making HUGE sacrifices rearranging their schedules to accommadate road schedule or they are working their asses off trying to make this place better for you/me to enjoy again as quickly as possible. Pull your head out of your ass and support them. Stay the f*** home and get your plow guy to check on your house if you arent a part of an association
