Re: South Ridge Chairs 4 sale
$300 is a little steep for that junk but I guess it's also a piece of history. If I had a truck to take it back home, I would consider it but I don't so I think I'll pass.Atomic1 wrote:http://buy.killington.com/eStore/Conten ... e=Standard

When the peak double was taken out some of the chairs and also the old gondola cars were sold at an auction. I picked up one of the double chairs, unfortunately never built that swing with it I thought about when I got it. If you buy one don't let it sit next to the garage like I'm doing.

Since your not using it, how much do you want to part with it for?biged wrote:When the peak double was taken out some of the chairs and also the old gondola cars were sold at an auction. Thanks A, I owe you a beer.
I just bought an SRT Tripple Chair for my daughter for her birthday present.
Now if only I can secure chair #144 specifically.

Re: South Ridge Chairs 4 sale
Some chairs on other lifts have numbers cut into the arm support web. Some have the number drawn in welding bead. In this case I think after sandblasting and painting, $3.98 of vinyl numbers from the hardware store will do nicely.Stache wrote: I just bought an SRT Tripple Chair for my daughter for her birthday present.

Shhh Moose, she lurks on this board and that is exactly what I was gonna do if I couldn't get #144. 'Course she prolly would notice any mismatch in the paint chips with the photo.

Gonna either leave it or clear coat epoxy it "as is".
It is, after all, a "collector's item".

Wasn't much but I bid on and won a Long Trail Golf Shirt. My old one is worn out but I couldn't bring myself to throw it out. At least now I have a good replacement.

Re: South Ridge Chairs 4 sale
Hmmmmm...I only paid $100 for my Cannon chair, but that was ten years ago. Inflation? Or is a K chair really worth 3X a Cannon chair? I guess it's what the market will bear.
Re: South Ridge Chairs 4 sale
I also thought $300 is a little much, I don't know if a lot of people are willing to spend that money. BTW, I like your chair overlooking the lake.MarieM wrote:Hmmmmm...I only paid $100 for my Cannon chair, but that was ten years ago. Inflation? Or is a K chair really worth 3X a Cannon chair? Re: South Ridge Chairs 4 sale
For 300 bucks they ought to at least paint it and include a seat cushion with it. Sheesh.
