I can't see from work but I'm assuming you're referring to the LOT wheels up? The guy did a good job, although its not TOOO much different from normal (angle need to be a little more forward) and they certainly practice this stuff in the sim.

Actually there is a video about a 747 that broke up on landing. BOEING sent engineers and crews to the AP with the airline and rebuilt the plane in a rather short time for a very reasonable price vs a new one. Big test was 1st flight out of crash airport.Stache wrote:powday wrote:planes are built to be able to land on their bellies like this (once)...great job by the pilots nonethless

If it were built so well, wouldn't the landing gear have deployed in the first place?daddy2lk wrote:Buy American- Boeing! Even when crash landing the tail stays on. (Obviously not an Airbus).

So when's the last time you landed a 767 without landing gear?SkiDork wrote:I can't see from work but I'm assuming you're referring to the LOT wheels up? Nice, let me rephrase. When is the last time you landed a 767 without landing gear and it wasn't in your dreams?SkiDork wrote:twice last month...andyzee wrote:So when's the last time you landed a 767 without landing gear?SkiDork wrote:I can't see from work but I'm assuming you're referring to the LOT wheels up?
