Must of been a huge IPO. Did the shares immediately get delisted?skiersleft wrote:Yes! I own shares there. Didn't you know they recently went public?SPORE wrote:It is pretty clear that you have an agenda here.
Everyone who says something negative hasn't been there recently or they are just completely wrong.
My offer stands, Spore. We'll discuss this over a Goombay and bruschetta. My treat. If you don't like it it won't hurt as you won't pay for it. I'll be up next week.

Well... happen to be a local. Yes have been there recently. Again, one of the most beautiful spots on the mountain, best views... so much potential. Dan the bartender is nice. Don't care for the owners, their attitude, or the food.SPORE wrote:It is pretty clear that you have an agenda here.

The empty parking lot day after day speaks for itself. They ain't drawing business in. Can't wait for this place to go up for auction. It'll be a a steal just like the Vermont Inn.

Dollar for dollar, no point in spending $18.95 on an entree at Grist when your palette can be utterly delighted elsewhere like Choices for the same dough.skiersleft wrote:You can also try Wendys. Hear they have great food.Ski Fetish wrote:Holy crap. Can you say someone from the Grist Mill has logged onto Kzone to try to drum up some biz? Talk about shitty, cheap food and crappy service to boot. Just about the worst place on the mountain. And it's a shame because it's a beautiful building with a lot of potential.

Corroborates that you haven't been there in some time. Now you can get a half entree for half price at the Grist Mill, which makes sense since portions are huge. Then Choices (and the rest) seem like too expensive.Ski Fetish wrote:Dollar for dollar, no point in spending $18.95 on an entree at Grist when your palette can be utterly delighted elsewhere like Choices for the same dough.skiersleft wrote:You can also try Wendys. Aren't you a lawyer? Don't you make good $$$? Why would you be concerned about spending money on an entree at The Grist vs a burger at Wendys? People here obviously want to help boost sales of Lipitor and Crestor.

This spring I ate at the bar for dinner and lunch. Was not impressed. Also, slow bar service when the place gets busy. Some fine tuning is needed at the bar and kitchen.

Re: Grist Mill
So half a dinner for half the price? Genius. They do that in FL for the seniors. So you could can get half of the NY Strip dinner with half of the Halibut dinner and have one full dinner--but with variety. Do they do third's too? Drinks? Half a drink anyone?skiersleft wrote:Corroborates that you haven't been there in some time. Now you can get a half entree for half price at the Grist Mill, which makes sense since portions are huge.
