Re: Weekend of the 17th
Could you add I will be there if Killington doesn't black out my employee/dependent pass for the 9th weekend in a row? :)
Re: Weekend of the 17th
How the HELL should I know? I have 2 jobs pending, one in South Carolina. I need to get to VT to sign up for the bum races but not sure I can. Why do I even WANT to ski Saturday? Finally we are on a relative watch for a possible family gathering. WTF, I'm retired and can't make a simple schedule.

Start working, unless you have a set start date or work indoors.BRSKIS wrote:Could you add I will be there if Killington doesn't black out my employee/dependent pass for the 9th weekend in a row? :)
Re: Weekend of the 17th
I have been signed up to work every weekend since Thanksgiving. Every weekend I am told they don't have enough business. Its not that easy. Same thing with my wife, not enough work.

Re: Weekend of the 17th
Staff blacked out this Sat . . . But not Sunday
Still no friends and family though . . .

Re: Weekend of the 17th
If I was up, I have vouchers even if staff blacked out. BUTT, seems family issues and a so called part time job are in my way. Wake / Funeral Friday and Saturday then off to South Carolina on Monday. Could have sworn I was RETIRED, but guess this part time gig is more than part time.
Enjoy the skiing and apre. Hopefully be up NYE weekend.

Friends and Family? How many free tickets do you guys get?ski wrote:Staff blacked out this Sat . . . But not SundayStill no friends and family though . . .
Re: Weekend of the 17th
When you work a few years, your spouse gets a ticket. Then your family gets a ticket, but like now they block you off if they expect traffic to be too large. Some volunteers get this "friends and family" plus discounts. Others work fewer days but receive no benefits. If you want to work you can get involved, but you have to work and put in the time.Ski_the_Moguls wrote:Friends and Family? Re: Weekend of the 17th
like doc says after a number of years of service your wife & then kids get passes though they've been blacked out weekends so far this season. i think the friends & family, ski is talking about (at least for patrollers & ambassadors) is the ability to buy discounted day tickets. i believe they capped it off at 12 tickets for the season. certain other staff may have a similar deal.Ski_the_Moguls wrote:Friends and Family? Re: Weekend of the 17th
I have a friend that works for Sugarbush (kids programs). He's allowed to purchase 30 employee discount tickets anytime during the season for friends (me). Employee discount tickets at the Bush cost $30 last year. He can ski anytime he wants at no cost.skiadikt wrote:like doc says after a number of years of service your wife & then kids get passes though they've been blacked out weekends so far this season. i think the friends & family, ski is talking about (at least for patrollers & ambassadors) is the ability to buy discounted day tickets. i believe they capped it off at 12 tickets for the season. certain other staff may have a similar deal.Ski_the_Moguls wrote:Friends and Family?
