I've carried a Buck, two blade pocket knife since I was in grade school.............try doing that now and the admins will try to send you to jail. Now I carry the pocket knife and a small 2" Swiss Army knife on my keychain, it has 1 blade, scissors, tweezers, nail file, bottle opener, staight and phillips head screwdriver and a tooth pick. I use one or both knives everyday for one thing or another. Afterall, it's all about survival, although I've never had to fight off a mount lion with them!

Not if you're in a sane area and have a reason to be carrying it/aren't a moron with it. I'm only a couple years out of high school in suburban NJ, and carried one all the time while in it.

A couple of years ago, my younger son, 9 yrs old, in the Scouts, owned a single blade knife about the same size as the
one pictured. He had bought it at the gift shop next to the K Market and he had taken it to school. He showed it to his friends
cause it said Killington on it. Big mistake. A teacher saw it, the "weapon" was confiscated, I got called in to meet the principal and
he was suspended for 3 days.

Be careful. They've been rumored to chase skiers off trail.
