I think you better find a share in a ski house next season Andy. You know you won't be able to find a fun crowd like this one anywhere else.andyzee wrote:Hehe, got that right. Plus this year we've been sticking mostly at K cause of the good season pass prices, that's not always the case, so I hate to lock myself into something. Can't argue with you there Ty!!!! About the crowd that is. Otherwise I've considered a share and kind of hate to lock myself into anything. Don't know we'll see.tyrolean_skier wrote:I think you better find a share in a ski house next season Andy. own a 2 bdrm in West Glade at Sunrise since fall of '99.
bought because the wife and I love to ski, plus we wanted the convenience of ski on-off so we could teach our youngins without luggin them to the mtn.
turned out to be a great investment (that is, if we sold it today)
we rent it out when we're not using it.

this is our second season owning our own piece of vermont,3 bedroom 1(!) bathroom small but cozy place in bridgewater.
used to co-own on sunrise, sold that, :(
friend wanted a bigger one.
we then stayed at the bigger one also on sunrise til he sold that one. he owns in utah now.
then got to stay at friend's ski houses.
we also used to stay at times in that house that looks like they are about to tear down on rt 4 across from the back behind. that was convenient before they closed the lift. i am always amazed it still stands whenever we drive past it
we also stayed at the valrock many times with our kids
we love our place off mountain!!
