South Ridge Two Seater

Post by Guy in Shorts »

There are a couple port-o-potties left on the South Ridge near the old triple terminus location giving us the new South Ridge two seater. Great when you need quick stop or a Port-o-Booty call but beware of Port-o-Tippers because it is all downhill from there.

You must of gotten all excited that a double would be installed rather than a relocated Snowden Quad.

I'd rather see a new fast fixed grip double than a relocated Slowdon Quad. It might even be cheaper: less load so fewer towers, less widening along the Jug. Don't see the need for porta-potties there. With no lift, you heading to the Bear lodge anyway. Didn't they use to have them for the lifties? OSHA requirement?

I really hope they are wise enough to never have another lift as slow as the Snowdon Quad.

Possible left over from the foundation construction. I think they were processing material in that area last summer.

It seems that as far as fixed-grips on a long run are concerned, no matter the chair capacity, carpet loaded with higher line speed is the way to go, Sugarloaf's new Spillway for example...
