You should thank SL. ALL of the negativity in this thread stems from his comments, as with most threads into which he interjects himself... Clearly the folks on this site support the work of Mike Solimano.Bubba wrote:I'd like to thank everyone who took a very constructive and informative thread started by Mike Solimano and turned it into the sh*t show it has become. After all the work Bubba did to get Killington management to participate on this forum, lets not scare them off. Their posting here has been fantastic with the facts and not a bunch of rumors.

Re: Killington's feedback on several kzone topics
Since I'm being quoted, perhaps I should clarify this. Regarding Mike saying "Jeff promised June". Whether Mike actually used the word "promised" or not I cannot remember. I believe the quote accurate, but certainly wouldn't swear to it. Regardless, Mike's claim is hearsay, and therefore inadmissible in a court of law. Skiersleft should know this. Additionally, it was clear from the context that this was not binding, not a contract, not even a "pinky swear and cross your heart and hope to die" promise. Just a personal commitment that they'd do their damnedest to make June. Do I feel lied to? Not in the least. Get over it. This is stupid.

I am - entertainment for the lift line!
Re: Killington's feedback on several kzone topics
I cannot imaging any ski area operator promising June. With the variables of New England's weather, that is a promise waiting to be broken. Promising that IF THE SNOW LASTS, THEY WILL REMAIN OPEN, is something I can see. I'm sure the comments were something more along those lines. Remember, this is first and foremost a business. They need to consider profits.rogman wrote:Since I'm being quoted, perhaps I should clarify this. Regarding Mike saying "Jeff promised June". Lets all hope for a cool April and May. If the weather cooperates, June is possible, even with less than the desired snow coverage. Make it worth their while COME TO THE MOUNTAIN AND SPEND MONEY!
