I appreciate the work and expense that has been put into K-Zone. It is especially cool there is NO ADVERTISING. You guys could be making $ off this and it very cool you haven't gone down that path.
Could you share the history for us new comers? Who's idea was it? Who were the founders?

I've had a lot of fun here and learned a ton about Killington and love reading some of the political stuff too. There are some bright people on here. Next step is to meet some of you at K. Thanks again.

Founders were the four admins plus a fifth who is no longer active. As for the history, it started as a replacement for the old Killington Chat Room that was run by the resort up until about a couple of days before this site started. The Chat Room was managed by then Director of Communications, Steve Wright. Steve left Killington and went to Jay Peak and his successor had neither the time nor the inclination (stomach?) to run the room. While Steve was able to keep things reasonably under control, his successor did not and when Killington revamped their website, they took the opportunity to kill the Chat Room. This site was up and running several days later at the latest and has been running ever since.
