Re: Back on injury list
Went to the doctor and had some X-rays taken. The result is that I have a fracture in my pelvic bone which is generating all the pain I am feeling. Nothing to do but let it heal. He ordered physical therapy for me.

At least your not missing anything.. This has not been greatest winter so far

Chicken Parm is Chinese food? And I'm the fool?Dr. NO wrote:FOOL, opportunity missed. Ty is on the injury list for awhile. Can't ski so has time to do other things, like make CHICKEN PARM. And I thought you were quick on your posts.junior wrote:Make sure you eat lots of Chinese food and take in a lot of movies. You never see any Jews getting hurt on the slopes, do you? I cannot walk without assistance. I am currently laying in bed. I borrowed some crutches from ski patrol for the weekend because Dork and kids must be at mountain for competition. I don't know how long I will be out but hopefully it's weeks and not months.
And make sure you rush back to the slopes as quickly as possible, just as you did with your last injury. That seems to have worked really well for you.
As for stretching out the pulled groin muscle, that's the worst thing you could do for it. Not sure why anyone would suggest that. You don't pull a muscle that's already healing from already being pulled. Not good advice at all. Just stick with the Lo-Mein and you'll be fine.

Re: Back on injury list
All people get injured! Religion has nothing to do with it .
You don't have any Jewish friends if that's what you think.

Re: Back on injury list
I know I know. I try to stay away from the Jews. Filthy people if you ask me. Why anyone would be Jewish is beyond me, except of course for the Chinese food. Other than that, the other religions have so much more to offer.SuzyQ wrote:

Re: Back on injury list
In the words of, well some people, you must take advantage of a crisis. Ty cannot go skiing and must do PT and rest. So, Jr. LOVES her Chicken Parm and she is available to prepare said Chicken Parm. Opportunity to get Ty's Chicken Parm. Of course the Dork would have first dibs on the venue.SnoBrdr wrote:So you're saying that a woman's place is in the kitchen?Dr. NO wrote:FOOL, opportunity missed. Ty is on the injury list for awhile. Re: Back on injury list
I am very sorry to hear this, I hope your recovery goes well and quickly. Do you have the groin pull and the fracture, or just the fracture?

Laugh and say I'm green
I've seen things you'll never see.
Talk behind my back
But I'm off the beaten track.
I'll take on anyone
Ain't scared of a bloody nose,
Drink till I drop down
With one eye on my clothes

Re: Back on injury list
Sorry to hear about the fracture. Try Progresso seasoned bread crumbs for the chicken parm. I think you'll be happy with the results. Seriously, take care of yourself.
