Okemo's fixed quads are 85, 90, and 91, Killington's fixed grip quads are 79, 87, 92, and 96.

Okemo's average fixed grip age is 1987, Killington is 1983. It would be interesting to compare numbers of lift "issues" (which is probably a subjective number) but the average age doesn't seem that far apart. Killington's triples are clearly older than anything at Okemo. (South Ridge was 1977)

That's a bit misleading though, as what actually makes up many of Killington's lifts are many years older than their install dates in their current configuration, as a result of Killington's penchant for "frankenlifts".

Snowdon Quad (1987) - Towers are from the original Snowdon Double, just modified. The bottom terminal (Yan) wasn't installed new, it was moved there from a previous use that I don't know.
Canyon Quad (1992) - I believe it was formerly the (1983) Sundown Triple in Steamboat before being moved here and having some modifications.
Snowshed Doubles(1987) - They were built in 1961/1963 and modified in 1987.

So the average age is a bit older than it appears, I think.

All true, but

The Snowshed doubles and the Snowdon Poma are redundant lifts. Used mostly by KSC (Poma) or on the rare day when capacity, icing, or breakdown requires them (Snowshed). These lifts don't contribute to a daily reliability perception. That was the question SnoBrdr asked.

Not sure if the age of towers or carriers affects reliability either... but feel free to come up with your own Frankenlift date.
