I wouldn't hold your breath for all snow up top. According to forecast I saw, the upper atmosphere is bringing in warm air and will change over to ice and even r*in for the upper elevations as well. Even predicting this for Jay Peak. I hope I'm wrong, but not looking good. It is slated to change back over to snow at the tail end of the storm. At least it should provide a hard snowmaking base. The remainder of the week and next week do look promising for snow making temps though.
It would be nice if the center of the storm was 600 miles southeast of where it is. Looks like they may still get a foot on upper mountain, but the last couple of inches may be ice. It's going to stay windy for a few days after the storm.
Good news is this should be great base building snow. Hoping for the best. At least Killington will be white.
Quite windy and no power across from Pico. Sounds like sleet mixing in from the sound of it hitting the windows.

Can't remember a storm where a lengthy freezing r*in started in the morning shortly after opening. Will detach lifts shut down as ice accumulates on the grips? Heavy reliance on detach lifts today, with K1, Superstar and Ramshead in the limited mix. Plus the wind.

trying to figure out what "Happy snow day! All scheduled lifts are open to the public" in the snow report means other than perhaps the rare event where the poma is closed.

Several lifts had delayed openings.
