Nobody else has made one so far so here goes. MrsG, Red Rider and I started skiing at Bear where we found Bear Claw,Viper Pit, lower Skyburst to be the best combination. Upper Wildfire had some guns but it was closed. Red Rider and I skied lower Wildfire and that was one and done - very chattery. Skyburst and the Stash were skiing fine this morning. Heard from someone who skied Bear this afternoon and he said it was not so good at that time. Moved over to Needles where Panic/Needles were in good shape. Cruise Control was OK. The better run was Bittersweet to High Road because there was some soft snow on it. Off the Superstar quad, the Superstar headwall was great with fresh new snow on it, middle Superstar had guns that put out snow that when it hit the goggles would stick like glue requiring multiple stops to wipe them. Skylark also had wet guns on it so you had to be careful but otherwise it was skiing good. Went up to the Peak for lunch and it was very busy with no seats to be found. Knew that would be the case when I had a very hard time finding a spot for my skis outside.
After lunch, I skied by myself and skied the North Ridge where Rime was skiing fast, Reason was very icy but Upper East Fall had nice soft snow on it. ROTD for me was East Fall with nice soft moguls. Once I discovered it, I did lapses until the Canyon Quad shut down at 3 PM. Moved over to Snowdon where I found nice snow on Mouse Trap, middle Chute and lower Chute. Did that a few times until I got too cold from riding the Snowdon Quad. Called it a day at 3:45. Tomorrow I will be working with the judges for the competition so I may be able to ski only a few runs in early morning and some later in the day.
Thank you Killington snowmakers for giving us some runs to enjoy.

Fun times today . . . although I did not partake in the 'after lunch' runs . . . my ROTD was lower Skylark . . . I must have missed the really wet guns - did enjoy skiing, but the 'yahoo bus' unloaded and that just made it not fun

Re: Friday, 2/5/16 report
Today was lots of bullet-proof with wet snow from the guns to cover your goggles. I got hit from behind by a teenage snowboarder. Couldn't get a seat at the Yurt, but had a lovely chicken, brie, and apple wrap at Cafe at Snowshed. The sun came out at 1 PM, but I had to take my skis to Black Dog so Dave could put in a weld.
Sigh.
I need a chicken wing.
